My name is Melody Dorsey-President of Planet Mike Earth.  My passion for starting this program is to help the youth in our community.  If we can help one youth we done a good job.  I am married to Kenneth Dorsey, we have been married for 2 yrs.  He has a passion to work with the youth to keep them out of jail, off drugs and out of gangs. ​ I currently work with the State of Nevada as a Administrative Assistant I.   


My name is Kenneth Dorsey.  I was born and raised in Seattle Washington. I have seven siblings.  I live in North Las Vegas, Nevada. I am married to Melody Dorsey. We have four children and eleven grandchildren. In 2017, my wife and I started up a 501c3 nonprofit youth organization, Planet Mike Earth (P.M.E.), to be of service to youth, young adults, families and communities and identify and address environmental issues. I am employed at Global Property Management Group and my wife, Melody, is employed at State of Nevada.

I am a family man, and lover of God, who has a big heart for people. I enjoy Christian and community fellowship, networking, mentoring, and community outreach and volunteering. I am a poet, spoken-word artist, musician, motivational speaker at “Speak Reach n Teach”, author of “Fruit of the Womb: My Lyfe Matters 2”, and actor appearing in movies: Studio 11’s “Two Roads” and MsMichelle’s “Institutionalized”.

Today, I use my life experiences, gifts and talents to mentor, inspire and empower youth and young adults through the cultural arts at P.M.E.   Today, I am a member of House of Worship Christian Center, NAACP, and a mentor at, Jon D. Ponder’s, Hope for Prisoners (HFP) Re-Entry Program, where I graduated form Vocational and Leadership Workshop in 2013; received HFP’s Outstanding Eagle Award in 2014; Graduated from Leadership Academy in 2016; started mentoring in 2017. I believe my primary purpose in life is to be of service and make a positive-productive difference, locally and globally.
